Bunnell upper extremity splints use sound biomechanical principles and gentle dynamic forces in the treatment of joint contractures and joint stiffness. The splints are uniquely constructed using spring steel and elastic rubber bands to obtain their corrective forces. Orthopedic grade felt is used to provide padding. Our splints can easily be modified to meet the patient's requirements. The maleable stainless steel and spring wire can quickly be re-shaped. The corrective force can be changed by simply adding or subtracting rubber bands.
